  Something can only live within your objective world if you keep it alive within your consciousness. A most effective way to embody a desire is to assume the feeling of the wish fulfilled and then, in a relaxed and drowsy state, repeat over and over again like a lullaby, any short phrase which implies fulfillment of your desire, such as, “Thank you, thank you, thank you” as though you addressed a higher power for having given you that which you desired. I need not remind you that you are now that which you have assumed that you are. Do not discuss it with anyone, not even self. You cannot take thought as to the HOW, when you know that you ARE already. Your three-dimensional reasoning, which is a very limited reasoning indeed should not be brought into this drama.   How am I over-complicating it? By placing too much focus on the external. You see the world around you as the truth and thus are unable to stick to living from within. Your reality is simply a projection of what you are entertaining inside. Think of your reality like a dream. In your dream, everyone, and everything you see is just a part of you masquerading as something separate. You know that it is just your mind creating everything, you know that you are in no real danger, you know that it’s all an illusion, something conjured up by your mind. It’s YOUR creation. Reality is no different. It is all YOUR creation. No one is doing anything to you. Nothing is an obstacle outside of your control. You are doing this all to yourself. An  imaginal act is a creative act, for the moment it is felt, the seed (or state) is fertilized. It will take a certain length of time to be born, so start today by assuming you are the man or woman you would like to be, and let the people in your mind's eye reflect the truth of your assumption.   Be faithful to your assumption. Persist in this thought, for persistence is the way to bring your desire to pass. You don't persist through effort or fear; rather, knowing that your imaginal act is now a fact, wait for its birth, for it will come.
